Considerations for Treating Inadvertent Benzodiazepine Use and Opioid Use Disorder

By the end of this BC ECHO on Substance Use session, participants will be able to:
1) recognize the risks of harm from inadvertent exposure to benzodiazepines through the unregulated opioid supply,
2) discuss strategies for engaging clients in conversations about the risks of co-ocurring benzodiazepine and opioid use, and 
3) describe approaches to designing a care plan for managing benzodiazepine withdrawal while initiating opioid agonist treatment
