  1. Define concurrent mental health and substance use/opioid use disorders.
  2. Assess patients for concurrent mental health and substance use/opioid use disorders and identify evidence-based treatment approaches.
  3. Describe the risks, benefits, and safe prescribing of buprenorphine/naloxone and methadone, and unique properties of these pharmacotherapy options in this patient population (i.e., clients with co-occurring mental health and opioid use disorders)
