By the end of this BC ECHO on Substance Use session, participants will be able to:
1) define co-occurring substance use disorders and describe available epidemiology on prevalence and associated harms,
2) recognize common presentations of co-occurring opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD), and
3) describe the risks, benefits, safe prescribing, and unique properties of pharmacotherapy options for co-occurring OUD and AUD, where appropriate
