Alcohol Withdrawal Management

By the end of this BC ECHO on Substance Use session, participants will be able to:
1) identify alcohol withdrawal and the mechanisms of action,
2) utilize the PAWSS tool to assess the baseline risk of severe complications of alcohol withdrawal,
3) discuss withdrawal management strategies and considerations for AUD care based on patient risk, and
4) recognize strategies to support patients living in rural communities and/or with limited access to services.
